The Heritage Collection are one of the UK’s largest manufacturers of solid oak doors and flooring, and pride themselves on the high quality materials they have to offer to their customers.
The range of doors and floors that The Heritage Collection have to offer has grown over the years, with a range of customisations for products now available to their customers. They found their previous website to be quite limiting for the type of products could be shown on their site, which was becoming more difficult for the team to administrate. Our solution was to provide an easy-to-use eCommerce platform that would give The Heritage Collection full flexibility over their product catalogue in the future.
This influenced our approach for the design and development of the website, which includes an on-page door configuration tool for fully customisable products which the customer can easily navigate and purchase through their online account. All product configurations, prices, stock and much more can be easily managed by The Heritage Collection staff through the admin area of the website.We worked with The Heritage Collection to gain an understanding of their long-term business goals, which included future prospects of integration with third party platforms such as eBay and Amazon to expand product sales. This needed to be considered whilst approaching certain technical aspects of the site, in order to future-proof for a variety of integration projects and further expansion.
The Heritage Collection’s new website is clearly organised and fully responsive, with a full product catalogue at the user’s fingertips. We’ve already began to see great results from the site, in both traffic and product sales, which we look forward to seeing increase as we develop an ongoing search and conversion optimisation strategy with the client.
